Beach beds (“lettini”) in Positano vary depending on the location and the season.

DO YOU NEED TO BOOK BEACH CLUBS IN POSITANO?
Short answer: Yes, in July and August you absolutely must book—especially at the beach clubs on Spiaggia Grande and Arienzo.
On Fornillo Beach, the vibe is more relaxed and local, but I still strongly recommend booking ahead, especially at Pupetto Beach Club, which has become one of the most sought-after spots thanks to its friendly staff, easy access, and the classic Positano atmosphere.
CAN YOU WALK TO THE BEACHES IN POSITANO?
Yes—Positano is a walkable village, although be prepared for stairs.
Spiaggia Grande: easily reachable from the main pedestrian road
Fornillo Beach: a scenic, 7–10 minute cliffside walk from Spiaggia Grande
Arienzo Beach (300 steps): walkable, but get ready for the stairs
Laurito Beach: usually accessed by shuttle boat
